If you wish to grow your family through adoption, we are happy to talk with you. We’ll explain how the process works, what qualifications are required, and how you can begin the process. Adoption is beautiful and difficult at the same time, but we’ll walk with you for as long as it takes.

Antioch Adoptions is a fee-free child-placing agency with over 25 years of experience. We have seen 500+ successful adoptions. Could yours be next?

First Step

Your first step is to attend our Introduction Class. Classes are held on the first Saturday of every month via Zoom from 9 to 11:30 a.m. To register, call the Antioch Adoptions office at (425) 558-0921 or email foreverfamily@antiochadoptions.com. Pre-registration is required for classes.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and obtain an application for the next steps.

Pre-Screening

After we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule a pre-screening interview with an Antioch Adoptions Family Development Coordinator. During your interview, we will discuss your reasons for adopting, family history, marriage, etc. You will also meet with one of the Antioch Bible Church pastors. Afterward, you will receive an email informing you if you have been approved to move forward.

Homework

You’ll need to complete the paperwork that Antioch Adoptions and the State of Washington or Arizona require. This paperwork helps your Case Manager write your adoption Home Study. At this point, you will be asked to provide legal documents, health records, financial statements, proof of employment, background checks, etc.

Home Study

After receiving your completed paperwork, Antioch Adoptions will assign you a Case Manager to complete your Home Study. The Case Manager will schedule home visits to assess whether your home and family are prepared to receive a newborn.

Placement

Once a birth mom has selected you and a match is made, we will arrange meetings between you and the birth parent(s). Your birth mother determines how and when you meet your child.

Finalization

Finalization includes an adoption hearing where you make a lifelong commitment to parent your child.
